beef soup with vegetables

Ingredients:
900 gr shank
450 gr beef ribs
1750 ml of water
1 onion
1 tsp peppercorns
2 tbsp fish sauce
3 sweet corn
2 potatoes
1 small green/white cabbage
12 green beans
1 tsp salt
1 clove of garlic

Preparation:
Peel the potato and cut it into wedges. Clean the corn and cut it into pieces. Cut the cabbage and onion into wedges. Crush the garlic.
Heat the water in a pan with the meat and bring to the boil. Skim off the foam. Then add the onion, peppercorns, garlic and fish sauce and cook covered and over low heat for 2 1/2 hours until the meat is tender.
Then add the corn and cook for 6 minutes. Then add the potato and cook for 5 minutes. Then add the green beans and cabbage and cook for 4 minutes. Mix in the salt and serve.
