Gulaorou
sweet and sour pork with pineapple
Ingredients:
150 gr pork shoulder / belly
225 g pineapple
1/2 (bell) green pepper
1/2 (bell) red pepper
1 egg
6 tbsp cornflour
oil
Marinade:
4 cm jahe
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
Sauce:
2 cm jahe
2 cloves of garlic
3 cm spring onion, white part
1/2 tsp palm sugar
2 tbsp saus tomat / ketchup sauce
4 tbsp water
1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
1/2 tbsp cornflour + 2 tbsp water
Preparation:
Cut the meat into small cubes. Cut the peppers into pieces and dice the pineapple. Grate the jahe. For the sauce, finely chop the jahe, garlic and spring onion.
Mix the meat with the salt, the jahe and the light soy sauce and let it rest for 15 minutes. Then mix in the egg and 1/4 of the cornflour. Then mix in the other cornflour and shake off the excess. Mix all ingredients for the sauce well.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meat until golden brown and set aside. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the peppers and pineapple until they are soft. Then add the sauce and mix well.
Then add the meat and mix well and serve.
