Ayam Seraki Pedas

1000 gr of chicken
600 ml of water
9 shallots
6 cloves of garlic
10 red lomboks
8 kemiri/candl nuts, roasted
2 cm lengkuas/laos/galangal
1 serai/sereh/lemongrass
1 tbsp asam water
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter

Cut the chicken into 12 pieces. Pound or grind the shallots, garlic, lomboks, kemiri and laos into a coarse paste.
Heat the water in a pan together with the chicken, pasta, serai, asam water and salt and cook the chicken until done and until the sauce thickens.
Remove the chicken from the pan. Add the butter to the sauce and when it has melted, spoon the sauce over the chicken and serve.
