Sayur Batang Talas
stewed spiced taro


Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
5 taro stalks
10 jengkol
1000 ml coconut milk
oil
water

Haluskan:
bumbu:
7 shallots
5 cloves garlic
11 red lomboks
2 tomatoes
2 salam leaves
2 serai/sereh/lemongrass
3 cm kencur
3 cm lengkuas/laos/galangal
2 cm kunyit, roasted
2 tbsp palm sugar
2 tbsp ketumbar, roasted
1 tbsp salt

Cara membuat:
preparation:
Cut the taro stalks into pieces and the jengkol coarsely. Heat the water in a pan and bring to the boil. Add the jengkol and the stalks and cook until soft. Then drain.
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu for 6 minutes.
Heat the coconut milk in a pan and add the bumbu, taro and jengkol and cook until done. Serve.
