Orek Tahu Tauco
fried tahu/tofu in a spicy soybean sauce
Bahan-bahan:
Ingredients
400 gr tahu/tofu
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp flour
4 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
2 salam leaves
1 sereh / lemongrass, white portion
3 cm laos
1 green lombok
1 red lombok
5 tbsp tauco (salted soybean sauce)
3 tbsp kecap manis
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
200 ml water
oil
Cara Membuat:

Cut the tahu into small cubes and sprinkle it with the salt and the flour. Heat in a pan 4 tablespoons of oil and fry the tahu golden brown and set aside.
Cut the shallots, garlic, lomboks and sereh finely. Heat in a pan 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the shallots, garlic, sereh, laos and salam for 3 minutes. Then add the lomboks/chilies and tauco and fry for 1 minute. Then add the tahu, the kecap, salt, pepper and water and mix well. Simmer it gently until the sauce has thickened.
