Kancah Ayam (Banten)
Spiced Braised Chicken


Bahan-bahan:
Ingredients:
500g chicken thighs
100g grated coconut
1 jeruk purut leaves
1 tbsp asam water
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1000ml water
Oil

Haluskan:
Bumbu:
4 cloves garlic
4 red chili peppers
2 candlenuts
4 cm lengkuas/laos/galangal

Cara membuat:
Preparation:
Dry-roast the coconut in a pan and then puree it. Cut the meat into pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the water and chicken in a pan and bring to a boil. Heat some oil in a pan and sauté the bumbu for 3 minutes. Then add it to the meat together with the coconut, pepper, salt, jeruk purut and asam water and cook the meat until done and the sauce thickens.
