Buntut Asam Padeh
Oxtail in a light sour spicy sauce
Bahan-bahan:
Ingredients:
1000 gr oxtail
13 red lomboks
6 cm laos
5 jeruk purut leaves
3 salam leaves
1 sereh / lemongrass
3 asam kandis
5 belimbing wuluh / star fruit
1 kunyit leaf
2000 ml of water (boiling)
Haluskan:
Bumbu:
11 cloves of garlic
8 shallots
2 tsp salt
Cara Membuat:
preparation:
Cut the oxtail into pieces and put it in water and allow it to rest for at least 1 hour. Rinse off afterwards. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Cut the lomboks finely. Halve the belimbimg wuluh.
Mix the meat with the bumbu, the lomboks, the laos, the jeruk purut, the salam, the sereh, the kunyit leaf and the asam kandis and fry it slowly until dry. Then add the water and simmer it slowly until and until the sauce thickens. Then add the belimbing wuluh and cook until soft. Serve.
