Lidah Bumbu Taoco
stewed tongue in a spicy sauce
Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
750 gr of beef tongue
9 shallots
5 cloves of garlic
2 serai/sereh/lemongrass
2 cm lengkuas/galangal/laos
10 green tomatoes
6 red lomboks
5 tbsp taoco
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar
2 tbsp kecap manis
200 ml of water
2 tbsp lime juice
4 tbsp oil
water
Cara membuat:
preparation:
Heat water in a pan and bring to the boil. Then add the tongue and cook for 5 minutes. Then remove the thick peel (scrape) and rinse the tongue well. Add the tongue back to the water and then boil until soft. Remove the tongue from the pan and cut it into small cubes.
Cut the shallots and lomboks into thin slices. Finely chop the garlic and cut the tomatoes into wedges.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the shallots, garlic, serai and galangal for 5 minutes. Then add the tongue cubes and mix well. Then add the water, the kecap, the taoco, the salt, the palm sugar, the lime juice and the tomatoes and cook until done and the sauce has thickened. Serve.
