Kao-Nieow Mu Ping
sugared pork
Ingredients:
200 gr pork
40 gr palm sugar
10 tbsp light soy sauce
water
Preparation:
Heat in a pan of water and cook the meat for 10 minutes and then let it cool. Pull the meat apart (pulled pork). Heat in a pan the soy sauce together with the palm sugar and dissolve the palm sugar. Then add the meat and cook slowly until the palm sugar has caramelised.
Serve with glutinous/sticky rice.
