Need Kao Tod
fried glutinous rice
ingredients:
200g r cooked glutinous rice
1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted and crushed
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 eggs, beaten
125 gr minced pork
oil
garnish:
lettuce, spring onions, cilantro leaves, thinly sliced birds-eye chillies to taste, diced pineapple
Sauce ingredients:
2 tablespoons prik pao
1 tsp lime juice
1/2 tsp sugar
preparation:
Mix the ingredients well and make balls of the mixture. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the meatballs brown and cooked through. Scoop the balls out and drain.
Mix the prik pao along with the lime juice and sugar into a sauce.
Put the balls on a plate and garnish with the chillies, the cilantro and the pineapple and serve with vegetables and sauce.
