Sup Kari Ayam (Jawa Timur)
spicy chicken soup with shrimps
200 g chicken thighs
200 g shrimp
1500 ml chicken stock
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 egg white
3 tbsp oil

5 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
3 red lomboks, pitted
1 tsp terasi/trasi
7 cm kunyit
4 cm jahe
2 tsp ketumbar
1/2 tsp jinten
1/2 tsp salt

50 g soun, soaked
3 boiled eggs, in wedges
2 tbsp bawang goreng
1 sprig of celery, finely chopped
slices of lime

Cara membuat:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Peel the shrimp. Chop the meat very finely and mix with the salt, pepper, cornflour and egg white to form a homogeneous mass. Then form small balls from the mixture.
Heat the stock in a pan and add the meatballs and cook until done. Then add the prawns and cook until they change color.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu for 5 minutes and add it to the broth. Cook until done. Put some of the pelengkap in a bowl and spoon the soup over it. Serve.
