Kao Niew Mu Ping
candied pork strips
Ingredients:
225 gr pork fillet
3 tbsp palmsugar
10 tbsp kecap asin (light soy sauce)
water
Preperation/method:
Heat in pan the water and add the meat. Cook the meat for 10 minutes then drain. Shred the meat in small strips/fibres. Heat in a wok the kecap and mix in the palmsugar and let the sugar dissolve. Then add the meat and let it simmer slowly until all liquids have evaporated and the sugar has caramelized.
