spicy chicken in coconut milk sauce

Ingredients:
1 chicken
2 potatoes
1 onion
3 cloves of garlic
5 cm jahe/ginger
5 red rawits
1 tbsp fish sauce
400 ml coconut milk
120 ml of water
1/2 red pepper
1/2 green pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
4 tbsp oil

Preparation:
Peel the potato and cut it into cubes. Cut the onion and garlic into thin slices. Cut the peppers into thin strips and chop the rawits finely. Peel the jahe and cut it into thin strips. Cut the chicken into pieces.
Heat the oil in a pan and add the potatoes and fry until golden brown and set aside. Then add the onion, garlic and jahe and fry for 2 minutes. Then add the chicken and fry until brown on all sides. Then add the fish sauce and fry for 1 minute.
Add the coconut milk, water and rawits and slowly bring to the boil. Then cover and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes until the chicken is done and the sauce has thickened.
Then add the potatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Then add the peppers and fry for another 2 minutes. Mix in the salt and pepper and serve.
