Tongseng Ayam Pedas
chicken in a creamy spicy sauce

Bahan-Bahan:
ingredients:
300 gr chicken thighs
1 tbsp lime juice
3 jeruk purut leaves
1 salam leaf
6 red rawits
1 tbsp curry powder
2 tbsp kecap manis
1/2 tsp palm sugar
200 ml of water
300 ml thick coconut milk
150 gr of cabbage
3 green tomatoes
3 tbsp salt

Haluskan:
bumbu:
5 shallots
5 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp ketumbar, roasted
1/4 tspnutmeg
1/4 tsp jinten / cumin
1 tsp salt

Cara membuat:
Preparation:
Cut the meat into pieces and marinate the meat with the lime juice and leave it for 15 minutes. Then rinse off.
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Cut the rawits into thin slices or strips. Cut the cabbage into pieces and the tomatoes into small parts.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu for 5 minutes. Then add the meat and cook until it changes colour. Then add the curry, the jeruk purut, the salam and the rawits and mix well.
Then add the water, the kecap, palm sugar and add the coconut milk bit by bit and bring to the boil while stirring. Add the cabbage and the tomatoes and cook it gently until done.
