Ayam Woku Belanga (Sulawesi Utara)

Bahan-Bahan:
ingredients:
1 chicken
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp lime juice
500 ml of water
3 serai / sereh / lemongrass
1 tomato
5 jeruk purut leaves
1 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
2 spring onion
1 bunch of kemangi
3 tbsp oil
Haluskan:
bumbu:
7 shallots
12 red rawits
4 kemiri/candlenuts
3 cm kunyit
3 cm jahe

Cut the chicken into 12 pieces and rub it in with the lime juice and the salt and let it marinate for 15 minutes. Cut the tomato into cubes and the spring onion into 1 cm pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu together with the serai for 5 minutes. Then add the chicken and fry until it changes colour. Then add the water and mix well.
Then the tomato, the jeruk purut, the salt and the palmsugar and cook over medium heat and covered the chicken until tender and until the moisture is almost absorbed. Then mix in the spring onion and the kemangi and serve when the spring onion has softened.
