Ikan Kacang
fish in peanut sauce
Bahan-Bahan:
ingredients:
500 gr fish fillet
1 lime, juice
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp asam water
2 tbsp kecap manis
2 tbsp peanut sauce (see recipe)
125 ml santen kental (thick coconut milk)

2 sprigs coriander, chopped

Cut the fish into slices and rub it with the lime juice, salt and pepper and let it marinate for 15 minutes. In a cup, combine the coconut milk with the peanut sauce, kecap and asam water.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fish on both sides until golden brown. Drain the oil but leave 1 tbsp oil in the pan. Then add the coconut milk and spoon it over the fish and bring it to the boil. Sprinkle the coriander on top and let it simmer and covered on low heat for another 5 minutes. Serve
