Ikan Basa Masak Bali
basa fishfilet in a spicy Balinese sauce

Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
4 ikan basa fishfilets (500 gr white fish filet)
4 jeruk purut / kaffir lime leaves
1 sereh (lemongrass), crushed
1 tbsp kecap manis (dark sweet soy sauce)
100 ml water
2 tbsp oil

Haluskan:
bumbu:
5 red rawits
1 tsp trasi
1 red onion
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp asem (tamarind)

Cara membuat:
preperation/method:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Heat in a wok 1 tbsp oil and fry the paste for 2 min utes. Add the sereh and the jeruk purt and let in stand. Heat in a wok the remaining oil and fry the ikan until half cooked. Add the bumbu, the weater and the kecap and let it simmer slowly until the fish had cooked.
