Sayur jantung pisang
braised and grilled spiced banana flower with tuna

1 jantung pisang (banana flower)
1000 ml water
1 tsp salt
300g smoked tuna
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
1 bunch kemangi
2 spring onions
banana leaf
7 shallots
3 red chilies
5 red rawits
Cara membuat:
Cut the flower into slices and knead it with salt, then rinse and drain. Heat in a pan and cook the flower with 1 tsp salt for 15 minutes. Then drain.
Shred the tuna. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the onion into small pieces and pick the kemangi. Mix it all together with the palm sugar. Spoon some what the mixture on a piece of banana leaf and fold it close and fasten the end. Steam the package for 30 minutes until cooked and let it cool off. Roast the package for 10 minutes slowly over a charcoal fire and serve.
