Asam Pedas Bawal
fried fish in a slightly spicy sauce


Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
600 gr ikan bawal/pomfret, otherwise haddock
1 tbsp lime juice
4 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp pepper
oil

Bahan saus:
ingredients sauce:
5 shallots
2 cm jahe
1 tomato
1 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
1 belimbing sayur
3 red lomboks
500 ml water

Cara membuat:
preparation:
Clean the fish. Puree the garlic. Rub the fish with the lime juice, garlic and pepper and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fish until golden brown and done. Then remove it from the pan and let it drain. Spoon the sauce over the fish and serve.

Sauce:
Cut the shallots into thin slices. Cut the tomato and belimbing into small cubes. Pound or grind the lomboks finely.
Heat some oil in a pan and fry the shallots for 5 minutes. Then add the lomboks, the jahe, the tomato, the salt, the palm sugar and the water and bring to the boil. Then add the belimbing and cook while stirring for 1 minute.
