Nua Yang Nam Tok
roasted spiced beef
Ingredients:
450 gr beef
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp asam water
1 tbsp lime juice
5 red rawits
5 tbsp fish sauce
5 tbsp lime juice
4 shallots
5 sprigs of coriander (including carrots)
4 sprigs of mint
2 tbsp khao noor (see recipe)
1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
3 tsp chili flakes
1 tbsp oil
Preparation:
Chop the rawits finely and mix this with the fish sauce, the asam water and the lime juice and rub it into the meat and let it marinate for at least 3 hours. Then roast the meat over a charcoal fire to taste. Then cut the meat into strips.
Finely chop the coriander and mint, finely chop the shallots. Heat the oil in a pan and add the meat. Then add the rest of the ingredients and stir fry on high heat for 1-2 minutes. Serve.
