Tou Hu Tod
fried tofu with sweet and sour peanut sauce
Ingredients:
1 tahu / tofu
oil
Ingredients sauce:
6 sprigs of coriander/cilantro
1 tsp chili sauce
1/2 cloves of garlic
1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp palm sugar
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp peanuts, fried
Preparation:
Cut the tahu into thick slices. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the tahu brown and crispy on all sides. Cut the tahu diagonally in half and serve with the sauce
Sauce:
Finely chop the coriander and the garlic very finely. Finely chop the peanuts. Heat in a pan over low heat the vinegar together with the chili sauce, the garlic, the salt and the palm sugar and stir until the palm sugar is dissolved. Then mix in the peanuts and sprinkle the coriander over it.
