Acar Ikan Kuning
fish in sour sauce
Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
2 mackerels
1/2 lime (juice)
3 red onions
2 salam leaves
150 ml thick coconut milk (santen asli)
1 tomato
2 green lomboks (chilies)
2 red rawits (bird's eye chilies)
1 sereh (lemongrass), bruised
2 tsp asem (tamarinde)
salt to taste
oil
Haluskan:
bumbu:
1 cm laos (galangal)
1 cm jahe (ginger)
3 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon grated gula jawa (palm sugar)
4 cm kunyit (turmeric)
3 red onions
Cara membuat:
preparation:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Cut the onion into thin rings and tomato into wedges. Cut the chilies into thin strips. Cut the fish into pieces and rub with salt and limonesap. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the fish and let it brown then drain. Pour out the oil until 3 tbsp oil remains. Fry the bumbu in the oil for 3 minutes and add the remaining ingredients and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Then add the fish and let it simmer for another 3 minutes. Serve.
