Kari Ayam
pieces of chicken in a spicy creamy sauce
Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
1 chicken
4 potatoes
2 sprigs of curry leaves
300 ml thick coconut milk (number)
200 ml of water
3 cardamon
1 star anise
2 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp oil
Haluskan:
bumbu:
9 shallots
3 cloves of garlic
6 red lomboks
5 cm jahe
6 cm kunyit, roasted
1 tsp ketumbar, roasted
1 tsp jinten, roasted
4 kemiri nuts, roasted
Cara membuat:
preparation:
Cut the chicken into 12 pieces. Cut the potatoes into wedges. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the water in a pan with the chicken and salt and bring to the boil and then set aside. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu for 6 minutes. Then add the curry leaf, cardamon, star anise, cloves, cinnamon and curry powder and fry, while stirring, until the curry leaf softens.
Then add the potatoes, the chicken together with the water and continue cooking over low heat until the potatoes are soft. Then add the coconut milk and continue cooking until the sauce thickens. Serve.
