Asem-Asem Iga Sapi
stew of beef with beans
Bahan-Bahan:
ingredients:
750 gr beef ribs
1500 ml of water
2 salam leaf
6 cloves of garlic
3 shallots
3 green lomboks
3 red lomboks
2 cm lingkuas / laos
100 gr green beans
5 belimbing wuluh
1 tomato
10 gr asam / tamarind dissolved in 25 ml of water
2 tbsp salt
25 gr palm sugar
2 tbsp oil
Cara membuat:

Cut the meat into pieces. Heat in a pan the water together with the meat and the salam and cook the meat until tender. Scoop out of the pan and leave 1500 ml of stock behind.
Cut the shallots and the garlic into thin slices, the lomboks in rings and the belimbing and the tomato into pieces. Cut the beans into 3cm long pieces.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the shallots, garlic, lomboks and laos for 5 minutes. Then add the stock, the meat, the beans, the belimbing, the tomato, the asam water, the salt and the palm sugar and cook until done.
